Inter Milan are reportedly open to re-signing Romelu Lukaku but only in a loan deal following the Belgian’s struggles in the English capital of late.
Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge has been subject to much discussion in recent times with the 28-year-old failing to win over Thomas Tuchel as well as the Chelsea supporters on account of his showings out there on the pitch.
An explosive interview to Sky Sports only added to the furore with speculation now doing the rounds that the Blues are willing to hear offers for Lukaku who has not made the starting team sheet in any of Chelsea’s last four Premier League outings.
According to a report from Football Insider, it is now claimed that Lukaku’s former side Inter Milan are considering re-signing the forward should the Serie A holders be able to strike out a loan agreement with the Chelsea camp.
Following Lukaku leaving San Siro last summer, Inter’s replacement for the outgoing Belgian in the former Manchester City man Edin Dzeko has provided muted output in front of the goal with only 12 strikes so far this season.
