Inter Milan open to parting ways with Chelsea targets Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni with the club’s CEO voicing encouragement on potential sales before the transfer window slams shut.
The exits of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen besides the growing uncertainty over the future of skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has meant that Tuchel is backed to dip into the market for bringing in much-needed reinforcements.
Inter duo Skriniar and Bastoni are considered top names on the shopping list in the English capital with the latter’s signature also eyed up by North London giants Tottenham Hotspur, now under the charge of ex-Inter manager Antonio Conte.
Giuseppe Marotta, Inter’s chief executive, while speaking to Radio Rai ( via a report from Evening Standard) has admitted that the club could be open to sanctioning the departures of Skriniar or Alessandro Bastoni who have courted interest from the Premier League.
“It’s certainly easier to replace a centre-back than a striker … we will probably be forced to sell someone in that position.”
