The Italian midfielder who was identified as the Premier League’s biggest target and who was potentially going to be with Manchester City, is now with Chelsea.
How did it happen? Why did it happen?
Before the appointment of new Italian coach Maurizio Sarri, the Italian midfielder was going to be the part of Manchester City. ‘But this was not what fate had in mind.’
Jorginho used to play under Maurizio Sarri that sealed the deal with a transfer value of £55 million.
Maurizio Sarri who is good friend with City’s head coach Pep Guardiola said that Chelsea needed the midfielder more than the Premier League Champions did. Chelsea were 30 points below Premier League champions last season, and Jorginho is one which could help them achieve that. And the midfielder has proved his worth in just three games playing for Chelsea. Sarri was on point getting Jorginho away from City and said “We need Jorginho more than City, so it’s right that Jorginho is here.”
Sarri mentioned Jorginho, just a step to decrease the 30 point gap.
Will this step be the changing point of the table this season?
