Hakim Ziyech is Chelsea’s new summer signing from Ajax that saw a £36 million deal move from Ajax but hasn’t made his competitive debut for the Blues yet.
The 27-year-old playmaker played in the pre-season match against Brighton where he faced a setback after picking up a knee injury. He was brilliant in that match as he completed an assist before the 2020-21 season commenced.
But it seems that the former Ajax star is ready to have his first competitive debut in the Premier League after coming off the bench as a substitute in Morocco’s match.
In the 59th minute of Morocco’s game, Hakim Ziyech was allowed to come off and had an eventful cameo for his national side. He looked sharp and his passing was crisp.

He was instrumental in the second goal of Morocco which was set up because of his incredible one-touch passing. He even gave an assist to the third goal of his team to seal a 3-1 victory against The Atlas Lions.
His cameo was brief but very helped the national side very much. In just a short time he made a massive difference in the game. Now he is back, it will be mouth-watering to see him with Werner, Havertz, and Pulsic together.
The Moroccan midfielder is efficient in operating on the right-wing but is also effective through the middle, similar to Kai Havertz. Lampard can use them to exchange their positions to get the better out of the opponent defence in the upcoming matches.
