Frank Lampard who is a frontrunner to take the vacant Norwich City top job could raid Chelsea for the signatures of Malang Sarr and Ross Barkley.
The Stamford Bridge hero is understood to be leading the race of candidates to succeed the recently sacked Daniel Farke at Carrow Road with the league’s new boys Norwich keen to confirm his appointment.
With The Canaries struggling to stay afloat in the Premier League with just one win in their campaign so far, Lampard will be backed to make moves in the January transfer window should he take the job.
Reports from The Daily Express have suggested that Chelsea duo Malang Sarr and Ross Barkley will be high on the shopping list for the ex-Chelsea gaffer with Lampard tipped to add to his underwhelming options in the Norwich City ranks.
Sarr had been signed by Lampard for the Blues in the summer of 2020 and the Frenchman has got sparse first-team action under Thomas Tuchel this season and so has Ross Barkley who is rumoured to be a top target for Newcastle United.
