Frank Lampard Can Be one of The Best In The World Says Hazard

Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard has claimed that his former Chelsea teammate Frank Lampard can become one of the best managers in the world.

The Blues appointed Lampard at the start of the new season as the successor to Maurizio Sarri who left for Juventus. But it was a big gamble as Lampard had only one year in management experience with Derby County and he almost guided the Rams to Premier League promotion.

Following a tough start to life as a manager at West London, Lampard has racked up the results and guided Chelsea to third place on the Premier League table at the moment.  The ex-England midfielder spent two years at Stamford Bridge playing alongside the 28-year-old Hazard.

Although the Belgian left just before Lampard was appointed at the helm, Hazard has explained that his former colleague could go on to become one of the finest managers in the world. The Los Blancos star spoke to reporters and said, “I know Frank as a player, not as a manager, but he’s a great guy. He’s showed already after four months that he can be one of the best managers in the world. The good thing is that they are playing with young players, young English players. For England it’s good, for Chelsea it’s good. They are lucky to have young players with quality. I still have good friends there. I follow them all the time. They are winning at the moment so I’m just happy for them”

Despite the transfer ban and losing Hazard, the 41-year-old Englishman has done a tremendous job so far and looks like he could take Chelsea back to the top of English football in a few years. More so, Lampard has done wonders with young players at the club handing them opportunities and the youth is club as a whole is reaping the rewards and benefitting from the promotion of youth.
