Fabrizio Romano provided a big update over Kalidou Koulibaly’s Chelsea transfer with the Napoli man on the verge of signing terms at Stamford Bridge.
The 31-year-old centre-back arrived in the English capital on Thursday for his medical ahead of finalising his move to Chelsea and becoming Thomas Tuchel’s second recruit of the summer after winger Raheem Sterling.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano with his latest tweet has claimed that the deal to bring Koulibaly to the Bridge is all done and dusted with just the official announcement from Chelsea awaited.
Koulibaly is set to put pen to paper on a four-year contract with an option to extend his stay with the Blues for another year as the Chelsea supporters await the unveiling of the centre-back who will bolster the defensive ranks at Tuchel’s disposal.
The Chelsea head coach Tuchel is understood to have prioritised his interest in landing Koulibaly’s signature after losing two first-team regulars in Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
