Chelsea’s young centre-back is a target for Everton this summer with the new Toffees boss Rafa Benitez keeping tabs on the player who joined the Blues in the last summer window.
Reports from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claim that Everton are in line to face stern competition from Italian side Bologna over landing the signature of the Chelsea man before the window’s deadline later this month.
Sarr had made the move to Stamford Bridge last summer on a free transfer after being released by Ligue 1 outfit Rennes but the then Chelsea boss Frank Lampard had made the decision to ship out the youngster on a season-long loan stint.
The Frenchman had linked up with FC Porto to ensure his regular minutes on the football and upon his return to the Chelsea fold this summer, Sarr faces an uncertain future lying ahead of him with Everton’s speculated interest in landing him.
Thomas Tuchel is unlikely to give a regular role on the teamsheet to Sarr with the Blues manager having Trevoh Chalobah as his breakout defensive star besides pushing for a deal to bring in Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
