Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez believes that Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as the club’s manager is the best decision.
The Argentine believes that under the manager’s guidance, the team will achieve success in the upcoming season.
Fernandez joined Chelsea from Benfica in January and performed admirably for the team. However, due to the club’s instability off the field, characterized by frequent managerial changes and excessive transfer spending resulting in an inflated squad, he did not see significant rewards for his efforts.
After enduring a disappointing season, which saw Chelsea finish in the lower half of the league table, Fernandez expresses his belief in the project led by Pochettino.
In an Instagram post, the midfielder stated that Pochettino was the ideal choice among all the available managers following a difficult season.

Fernandez highlights Pochettino’s ability to effectively coach Chelsea’s talented young players and unify them into a cohesive team.
He emphasizes on the former Tottenham Hotspur manager’s track record of developing players and transforming them into top-class performers over time.
“I still had half a year and there was an opportunity to reach one more dream, to play the Premier League and fight for Chelsea! Happy and more than happy with everything we have experienced this year.”
“We are moving forward with the national team. We are moving forward with Chelsea that although the first semester was not as we all wanted, we know that this is a serious project and with people who are looking for the best for the club and this year we will show it!!”
Chelsea fans are hopeful that the club will have a balanced approach to the upcoming transfer window, focusing on both player acquisitions and sales.
After a period of extensive signings that resulted in a bloated squad, the priority now is to identify the right players to offload under the guidance of manager Pochettino.
Once that process is complete, the emphasis should shift to acquiring new players who can work with Pochettino to enhance the team’s performance compared to the previous season.

The sales aspect of the transfer window appears to be progressing well, with players like Mateo Kovacic reportedly moving to Manchester City and Kai Havertz potentially joining Arsenal, among others.
Now is the time to finalize incoming deals as well. The hope is that Todd Boehly and the club’s leadership will provide Pochettino with the necessary support and authority to ensure he can implement his desired style and philosophy at Chelsea.
