Crystal Palace want to sign Chelsea youngster Lewis Hall on loan in the upcoming summer transfer window following the defender’s impressive displays towards the backend of this season.
Hall provided cover in the left-back role for Chelsea in the injury-enforced absence of Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella and the teenage talent did not disappoint the coaching staff and fans alike with his showings.
According to a report from The Daily Mail, it is claimed that Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old Hall with the Eagles hoping to land him on loan when the transfer window reopens for business later in the year.
Hall is primarly a midfielder but was drafted in the left sided full back role by interim Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who was unable to call upon the services of both Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella.
The defensive starlet was blocked from linking up with England’s Under-20 World Cup squad and will instead be in the mix to make his debut for the England Under-21s squad during next month’s international fixture list.
