Tammy Abraham could finally be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer as speculation has earlier indicated with Crystal Palace now joining the race to sign the fringe Chelsea first-teamer.
Since Thomas Tuchel’s hiring in the backend of January this year, Abraham has seen sparse playing time coming his way giving rise to talk that the striker will demand an exit ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Reports from Sunday World claim that the manager-less Eagles are line to table an offer for the wantaway Chelsea player with the south Londoners wanting to make major moves in the transfer window despite still being on the search for a new manager.
What could put off Palace will be the rumoured £40 million fee being demanded by Chelsea in order to sanction the sale of Abraham who is still valued highly by Tuchel and his backroom staff at the Bridge.
Palace will also have to fight off competition from West Ham United who are hopeful of landing the signature of Abraham with David Moyes’ side enjoying a Europa League berth for the upcoming campaign.
