Christian Pulisic is named on the starting team sheet for Chelsea as they welcome Italian giants Juventus to Stamford Bridge for the Champions League group stage fixture.
A long-term injury absentee in Romelu Lukaku is named on the bench with the Belgian featuring amongst the substitutes alongside the likes of Timo Werner and Mason Mount.
Chalobah gets the nod to start at the back
Thomas Tuchel unexpectedly does not ring in major changes to his backline with Trevoh Chalobah and Thiago Silva starting with Antonio Rudiger in the three-man defensive lineup.
Andreas Christensen and the skipper Cesar Azpilicueta remain on the bench with Tuchel not resting either Reece James or Ben Chilwell both of whom start in the wing-back roles.
Havertz out of the squad with injury
The midfield pairing of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho remains unchanged for the Blues with summer recruit Saul Niguez on the bench.
In the final third with Kai Havertz out with an injury, there is no natural striker for Chelsea as Pulisic is recalled to the team sheet with Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi slotting in on the flanks.
Here is how both teams line up for today’s Champions League fixture:
