Thomas Tuchel rings in changes once more as the Blues play hosts to city rivals Arsenal in the midweek fixture at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had last come up against the recently crowned champions of England Manchester City in what was an evenly contested game which went the west Londoners’ way courtesy of a stoppage-time winner from Marcos Alonso.
Kurt Zouma comes in for the injured Andres Christensen
Replacing Christensen, who had been withdrawn on the brink of half-time last time around owing to an injury, is the France international Kurt Zouma.
There is no Antonio Rudiger in the matchday squad for the hosts with Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicuetta forming the three-man backline besides Zouma.
Tuchel makes big changes up top for the Blues
Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech drop down to the bench with the likes of Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz claiming starting roles up on the pitch.
Pulisic has not seen much game time in recent weeks and with speculation lingering over his long-term future at the Bridge, the young American will be hoping to make a positive impact when coming up against the Arsenal defence.
Here is how both teams line up for today’s Premier League fixture:
