Chelsea’s New Third Kit resembling Crystal Palace hasn’t gone well with the Fans

Chelsea has unveiled their third kit of the season and the twitter exploded seeing the color of the shirt.

The blue and red stripes make Chelsea look more like Crystal Palace. Maybe CFC supporters will get used to it over time, and of course, none will care if they end up winning silverware in this design.

People have started calling out the kit as rubbish and it’s quite evident that this unusual effort from Nike has not gone down at all well.

For now, however, Twitter is full of replies from the pissed off fans as this latest Chelsea kit is clearly going down very badly on its realising day.

The kit is supposedly influenced by a popular set of Nike Air Max from the 1990s. It resembles more like a rip-off Crystal Palace jersey.

The faded color at the bottom of the shirt is probably meant to look stylish but instead looks like the end of the till roll at a supermarket.

The club tweeted alongside pictures of the new jersey: ‘Meet a new legacy. The 20/21 @nikefootball third kit is here!

‘The primary colour is ember glow, with ultramarine blue playing a strong supporting role. The blue appears on the jersey’s V-neck collar, shoulders and on vertical stripes which gradually fade away down the front of the shirt. Ember glow shorts and blue socks complete the full look.’

‘One for the sneakerheads. Inspired by the 1990s Ultramarine Air Max 180 and classic shirts of the past! Available 10.09.20. #ItsAChelseaThing

Unimpressed with that final hashtag, Crystal Palace retweeted the pictures with the caption: #ItsNotThoughIsIt

Chelsea went into further detail on the inspiration behind the kit on their website, although it is not simply red and blue, it is ’ember glow and ultramarine.’
