Scott Parker, a former Chelsea midfielder and current Bournemouth manager, has expressed interest in Levi Colwill ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, Bournemouth boss, Scott Parker wants Chelsea center-back Levi Colwill on loan as his first signing of the summer transfer season.
The 19-year-old has sparked the Cherries’ interest following their promotion to the Premier League’s 2022-23 campaign.
On loan at Huddersfield Town this season, the England youth international, who has been compared to John Terry, has established himself as one of the top defenders in the Championship.
He’s made 29 appearances for the Harriers, and his remarkable performances have earned them a trip to Wembley for a chance at promotion to the Premier League.
The 19-year-old is reportedly being given a chance by Thomas Tuchel after his loan spell in the Championship gets over.
Colwill has spent most of his time at the John Smith’s Stadium on the left side of a back-three, where he has had a lot of success threading passes through to his midfielders, winning aerial duels, and defending with a maturity far above his years.
According to The Athletic, the Cobham graduate’s talents have already piqued Leicester City’s interest, but Bournemouth has now entered the competition as well.

While a move to the Premier League could be on the cards for the teenager, the story indicates that Thomas Tuchel will examine Colwill more closely during pre-season.
With Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen due to depart Stamford Bridge when their contracts expire in the summer, losing the kid may be a devastating blow to the Blues.
