Thomas Tuchel may find it impossible to land his top target Erling Haaland this summer with Borussia Dortmund insisting their firmness on retaining the Norway international forward heading into the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
Reports from Sky Sports claim that an informal offer planned by Chelsea which sought to send either Tammy Abraham or Callum Hudson-Odoi in the opposite direction has been rejected by the Bundesliga heavyweights.

It is understood that Dortmund are eager on ensuring Haaland does not seal a move elsewhere this summer despite what has been repeated attempts by Chelsea to lure the 20-year-old striking sensation to Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel has made it clear that he wants to recruit a big-name forward this summer who can find the back of the net on a regular basis for the Blues next season where the Champions of Europe will be backed to compete for Premier League glory against the colossal likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
Chelsea, however, have been dealt successive blows on the transfer front with Romelu Lukaku’s desire to stay at Inter Milan being followed by Dortmund’s reluctance to part ways with Haaland in the summer window.
