According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea’s winger Hakim Ziyech has completed his medical tests in preparation for his move to Galatasaray.
Simultaneously, the Blues are on the verge of finalizing the signings of Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia and Santos forward Deivid Washington, who underwent medical tests the previous day.
Ziyech arrived at Chelsea from Ajax in 2020. However, he has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the team and has actively sought loan and permanent transfers to revive his playing time.
A potential loan move to Paris Saint-Germain in January failed to materialize due to Chelsea’s inability to complete the necessary paperwork before the transfer deadline, resulting in Ziyech remaining at Stamford Bridge.

During the earlier part of the summer transfer window, an attempt to secure a transfer to the Saudi Pro League was unsuccessful for the winger due to a failed medical examination, revealing a knee issue.
The Turkish Super Lig club has now expressed interest in acquiring the 30-year-old winger, suggesting his departure from Chelsea is becoming more likely.
The Blues have been efficient in their midfield signings, notably securing Moises Caicedo for a British record fee of £115 million.
Chelsea managed to sign the former Brighton talent from the grasp of Liverpool, who were initially the favourites to secure the player’s signature. Liverpool had reportedly agreed on a £111 million deal with Brighton for the player.
However, similar to the situation with fellow target Romeo Lavia, Chelsea were able to sign him ahead of the Reds. This pushed their spending beyond the £900 million mark since May 2022.
Chelsea have also triggered the £35 million release clause for Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise, aiming to strengthen their squad.
