Chelsea weighing up an offer to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana

Chelsea are reportedly weighing up an offer to sign Inter Milan No.1 Andre Onana as the Blues co-owner seeks to bolster the goalkeeper position in his squad.

According to a report from Inter Live ( via football.london), it is claimed that Kepa’s deputy, Edouard Mendy, could be leaving Chelsea this summer and Graham Potter’s side are interested in moving in for the former Ajax man Onana.

Kepa is Chelsea’s first choice option between the goalposts but the Spain international has failed to impress on a consistent basis and could be set to fall down the pecking order if Chelsea fork out money on a new signing.

Onana is not the only goalkeeper on Potter’s wishlist with the Chelsea head coach also keeping tabs on a Premier League name in David Raya who has been brilliant for Brentford this season and is linked with a move to a bigger club.

Raya has already turned down two contract offers from Brentford who are desperate to retain his services amid Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur waiting in wings for the goalkeeper ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
