Chelsea want to offer out-of-favour winger Christian Pulisic in a cash-plus-player deal to sign Napoli frontman Victor Osimhen this summer.
Osimhen is a name on the shopping list of some of Europe’s top clubs following his prolific campaign this term for Napoli who are at the summit of the Serie A table and look well on course to clinch the title.
The 24-year-old striker has grown into one of the most lethal No.9’s across the continent and Chelsea are expected to fend off competition from the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City to land the 25-goal star.
According to a report from the Italian publication Calciomercato, the Blues could be encouraged to include American international Pulisic in an offer for Osimhen to get the deal over the line when the transfer window reopens later this year.
Pulisic has struggled for his best form consistently since making the move to Stamford Bridge and his recurring injury troubles have further curtailed his game time with Chelsea looking to cash in on the former Dortmund starlet.
