Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur : Chelsea’s Predicted Lineup | PL 22-23

Chelsea play hosts to city rivals Tottenham Hotspur this coming weekend in the Premier League in what should be an exciting matchup.

Thomas Tuchel’s men began their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win away at Everton with Jorginho’s spot kick sealing the three points up for grabs.

Let us now have a look at how Thomas Tuchel might set up his Chelsea side against Spurs –

3-4-2-1

Edouard Mendy will be the man between the goalposts for Chelsea with no changes expected to be made in the defensive lineup by Thomas Tuchel.

Thiago Silva should be joined by Kalidou Koulibaly and Cesar Azpilicueta in the heart of the defence while Reece James and Ben Chilwell are tipped to retain their berths on the starting team sheet.

In midfield, Jorginho will partner N’Golo Kante with Tuchel unlikely to give the nod to Mateo Kovacic to start after Jorginho impressed in the opener against Everton.

Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount will slot in the wide roles up top on the pitch which leaves Kai Havertz to operate in the No.9 position.
