Chelsea will be hoping to tighten their grip on the top four position when they host Manchester United in the Premier League on Monday Night.
The Blues are presently sitting fourth in the Premier League standings with 41 points to their credit.
They are six points clear of ninth-placed United, who have won both matches between the two teams this term. The London side have lost only one of their last eight matches across all competitions but have won just one of their last five matches in the English top flight.
This has seen draws with fellow London rival Arsenal (2-2) who defeated the Magpies 4-0 in exemplary fashion with Mesut Ozil returning to the score sheet even as they drew with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Here Chelseacore.com takes a look at how the capital side would line-up at Stamford Bridge.
Out: Ruben Loftus-Check (Achilles), Christian Pulisic (groin), Marko Van Ginkel (knee)
Doubtful: Tammy Abraham (ankle)
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Marko Van Ginkel are still unavailable for selection through injury, but Tammy Abraham is being tipped to lead the Chelsea attack on Monday Night.
The English player has been struggling with an ankle problem but Lampard opined that Tammy would be available when speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference.
Certainly Lampard’s major decision will come between the sticks, Willy Caballero was given a place in goal against Brendan Rodgers Leicester City. This is due to Kepa Arrizabalaga’s struggles for form. However, the Spaniard is being tipped to return to the starting eleven for this key Premier League encounter.
Mason Mount could get the nod over Mateo Kovacic due to his superior attacking qualities, Brazilian Willian should also return to the side in place of Barcelona bound Pedro Rodriguez.
Jorginho and N’golo Kante are certain starters in midfield for Chelsea. English youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi and Andreas Christensen should keep their place in the Chelsea starting eleven (XI).
