Chelsea vs Malmo: Chelsea’s Predicted Lineup | 2021-22 Champions League

Thomas Tuchel’s high-flying Chelsea play hosts to Swedish outfit Malmo in the Champions League group stage fixture set to be played out at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

The Blues last turned out in league action over the weekend away at Brentford in a game that was narrowly won courtesy of a wonder strike from wing-back Ben Chilwell.

Let us now have a look at how Thomas Tuchel might set up his Chelsea side on Wednesday –

3-4-2-1

Kepa could be in for an outing in the midweek contest in the Champions League with Edouard Mendy set for some well-deserved rest after his terrific showing against Brentford last time around.

Thiago Silva missed the Brentford win after his late arrival from the Brazil fold but the veteran central defender will be in line for making it to the teamsheet for the upcoming game.

Jorginho was benched on Saturday with Ruben Loftus-Cheek starting in midfield and expect the reverse to happen come Wednesday with the Italian likely to return to the midfield department for Thomas Tuchel.

The under-fire showings put out by Timo Werner could convince Tuchel to bring in the likes of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount to partner Romelu Lukaku up front for the Blues.
