Chelsea have a high-billed Champions League outing to look forward to as they play hosts to Juventus come Tuesday night in the English capital.
The Blues secured a 3-0 win away at Leicester City over the weekend with Thomas Tuchel’s men putting out a convincing showing on all fronts to claim the three points.
Let us now have a look at how Thomas Tuchel might set up his Chelsea side on Tuesday –
3-4-2-1
Edouard Mendy will continue as the man between the goalposts for Chelsea but Tuchel will be likely to ring in major changes to the three-man backline.
Andreas Christensen and skipper Cesar Azpilicueta were both benched for the last outing and are expected to return to the team sheet at the expense of Thiago Silva and Trevoh Chalobah.
N’Golo Kante on the back of his superb display against Leicester will partner Jorginho in the heart of the midfield with Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi tipped to take the roles in the forward lineup.
Timo Werner could be in the mix to feature after being named on the bench last time around and he would be backed to assume the central striking role ahead of his compatriot Kai Havertz.
