Chelsea may have prepared mentally for the Everton match following their impressive 2-0 win over Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool side during the FA Cup in midweek, they paid the price of this victory with three players getting injured in the fixture.

Jorginho will miss out on the Chelsea’s next two matches as he has picked up his 10th Yellow Card of the League Campaign last weekend. The Italian will joined on the sidelines by Croatia’s Mateo Kovacic. Mateo suffered a crucial Achilles problem playing against Liverpool in the FA Cup in midweek.
Since French star N’Golo Kante is out injured midfield prospect (who impressed against Liverpool) Billy Gilmour could line-up with Ross Barkley and Mason Mount in a three man midfield partnership. If Lampard choose to retain the same four (4) man back line that saw them (Blues) defeat League Leaders Liverpool, Reece James could be an option to replace Willian.
The Brazilian is carrying an Achilles Injury. Following the top quality which saw Chelsea and Kepa keep a clean sheet against the rampant scoring Liverpool side, Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to get the chance ahead of Willy Caballero.
Rubén Loftus-Cheek is unlikely to be in contention for a starting role even though he has come through Chelsea’s second-string game earlier in the week.
