Chelsea play hosts to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in the second FA Cup semi final with both sides looking to secure a berth in the finals to square off against Liverpool.
Thomas Tuchel was in for a setback with his Chelsea side unable to retain the Champions League crown but a spirited showing against Real Madrid gives them much-needed confidence heading into Sunday’s contest on home turf.
The Blues were sent crashing out of the Champions League midweek despite a 3-2 win at the Santiago Bernabeu over Real Madrid who progressed to the semi-finals with an aggregate win.
Palalce’s stellar seven-game unbeaten streak was brought to an end last weekend with a defeat to Leicester City but Patrick Vieira’s men could pose to be stern challengers for Tuchel’s Chelsea.

Striker Romelu Lukaku was deemed an injury concern of late but his return to training could open the door for the Belgian to make his way back into the matchday squad.
