Chelsea play hosts to Chesterfield on Saturday in the third-round clash of the FA Cup with Thomas Tuchel’s side the strong favourites.
The west Londoners last played city rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a rather one-sided first leg contest in the Carabao Cup which finished in a 2-0 win for Chelsea.
A strike from Kai Havertz and an own goal from Spurs wing-back Ben Davies meant a major advantage for Tuchel’s Blues ahead of the second leg semi-final meeting set to be played on away turf later this month.
Chesterfield are not expected to pose a tough challenge for Chelsea over the coming weekend despite a second string XI set to take the field for the home side.
