Chelsea are said to have turned their attention towards signing Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries this summer after a setback in their long-standing pursuit of Jules Kounde.
Kounde, a top name on Thomas Tuchel’s shopping list in the English capital, appears set to rebuff interest from the Chelsea camp in order to seal his move to Barcelona who have hijacked Chelsea’s approach for the Sevilla centre-back.

Dumfries has been an influential performer for the Serie A runners up Inter and his showings in Italy’s top flight have made the Dutchman subject to serious interest from Chelsea’s local rivals Manchester United.
