Chelsea are reportedly set to slap a big-money price tag on Inter Milan target Romelu Lukaku who is eyeing a move away from the English capital this summer.
Lukaku is keen on a return to San Siro just a year after joining Chelsea in a record £97.5 million agreement with the Belgium international failing to meet the expectations that had surrounded his arrival.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, Inter Milan’s strong interest in re-signing their former star forward could run into trouble on the pricing front with Chelsea not willing to budge on their demands and take a huge financial hit.
The west London heavyweights are seeking a sizable £20 million loan fee for the first year with a fixed price of around £65 million to be included in the deal for Lukaku’s move to Inter on a permanent basis come 2023.
New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, whose takeover at Stamford Bridge is understood to be imminent in the coming weeks, is expected to make major moves in the market by bringing in big-name forwards for Thomas Tuchel.
