Thomas Tuchel is eager to wrap up Jules Kounde’s signing this summer and it is claimed that the Chelsea boss is set to include Kurt Zouma in the deal for his target Sevilla centre-back.
Zouma has fallen out of favour with Tuchel who took over the managerial reigns at Stamford Bridge from Frank Lampard earlier this year and the defender has been linked with an exit in the ongoing transfer window.
Chelsea are pushing for Koundé. Kurt Zouma could be included in the negotiation as Sevilla appreciate him. Talks ongoing – Emerson Palmieri is not even an option, as of now. 🔵 #CFC

Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Chelsea are prioritising the approach for Kounde who has presented himself to be one of the top defensive names in La Liga football with his displays at the back for both club and country this past year.
With Sevilla understood to be playing hardball over a potential move for their star central defender, Chelsea’s decision to include Zouma as a makeweight in the deal for Kounde could make matters move more swiftly going ahead.
Romano also clarified that there are no talks to ship out another fringe Chelsea first-teamer in Emerson Palmieri to Sevilla despite the Italian full-back heavily backed to call it quits at Stamford Bridge this summer.
