Thomas Tuchel and Thiago Silva are both set to put pen to paper on new deals at Stamford Bridge with an official announcement by Chelsea expected very soon following their weekend glory in the Champions League.
The Blues were crowned the Champions of Europe for the second time in their history after a narrow 1-0 win over fellow Premier League side Manchester City in the final played in Porto.

With the new Chelsea gaffer delivering a trophy of the Champions League’s magnitude just four months into his hiring, it is clear that the club are keen to tie down the German to an extended contract.

Fabrizio Romano claims that besides Tuchel, another former Paris Saint-Germain man Thiago Silva is in line to sign an extension just a summer into his move to west London on a free transfer.
The Blues also eager to offer a new deal to star midfielder Kante
Kante earned major plaudits for his incredible display in the final over the weekend and the France international is set to be rewarded for his superb displays of late with a contract extension from Chelsea.
The World Cup-winning midfielder, however, remains in no rush to agree to a new deal but would be signing extended terms just in time for the new season.
