Chelsea target Rafael Leao is understood to be unwilling to extend his stay with AC Milan beyond the summer of 2024 in a welcome boost for his suitors in the Stamford Bridge camp.
Leao has emerged as one of the priority targets for the Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly and the new head coach Graham Potter with the duo on the hunt for reinforcements to bolster Chelsea’s under-fire front line.
According to a report from The Daily Express ( via Sky Sports), it is claimed that the Portugal international winger Leao, who has been a standout performer at San Siro for the past year, is mulling over his future in the Serie A beyond 2024.
The Blues will have to fend off increasing competition should they wish to emerge as the frontrunners for Leao’s services as Potter looks to reinforce his squad in the months with Boehly prepared to back him with ample funds.
