Chelsea transfer target Cristiano Ronaldo could be available to his suitors in the market when the transfer window reopens in January in a welcome boost for the Blues.
Todd Boehly, who is the owner as well as the interim sporting director of the Stamford Bridge outfit, was keen on moving in for Ronaldo’s services in the summer only for then manager Thomas Tuchel to block the approach.
According to a report from The Telegraph, Manchester United rebel Ronaldo is looking for the exit route from Old Trafford and would be mulling over his options in the upcoming January transfer window.
It is said that United head coach Erik ten Hag will not stand in the player’s way should a suitable offer arrive with the latter failing to find his way back into the United team sheet, most recently in the 6-3 defeat to Manchester City.
The 37-year-old Portuguese superstar could only watch from the sidelines as his side collapsed in the thumping loss to their city rivals with Ronaldo expected to seek greener pastures sooner rather than later.
