Chelsea have suffered a blow in pursuit of Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman with the Frenchman deemed too valuable to be sold by the Bundesliga champions.
There had been speculation that the Blues were keen on Coman and were ready to offer Stamford Bridge outcast Christian Pulisic in a swap deal for the Bayern frontman Coman who has been linked with a move to west London previously.
According to a report from teamTALK, however, the Stamford Bridge giants are unlikely to snap up Coman anytime soon with Bayern sure to retain the France international with no interest in bringing in Pulisic.
The Blues had been hopeful that Bayern could have been inclined to accept the USMNT talisman Pulisic in the swap offer with the winger involved in 31 goals in 90 games during his stint in the German top flight division with Borussia Dortmund.
Pulisic is expected to head out the exit door at the Bridge sooner rather than later with the American international frustrated over his lack of regular first-team action in the Chelsea shirt amid interest from elsewhere in his services.
