Chelsea striker Armando Broja is reportedly closing in on sealing his move to West Ham United this summer in a permanent deal, according to the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 20-year-old Broja was a star turn for Southampton during his season-long loan spell at St. Mary’s last term and following his return to Chelsea this summer, Thomas Tuchel has been mulling over the youngster’s long-term future at the Bridge.
David Moyes is keen to move in for the Albanian forward with the West Ham manager on the hunt for attacking reinforcements to provide cover in the No.9 role for Michail Antonio who remains the Hammers’ sole striker in the first-team ranks.
Romano has claimed that talks between Chelsea and West Ham are gaining ground with the latter insisting on Broja’s move to the London Stadium on a permanent basis after agreeing upon personal terms with the player.
Chelsea have added England international winger Raheem Sterling to their ranks in the transfer window and the former Manchester City star’s arrival means that Tuchel does not lack firepower in his forward lineup heading into the new campaign.
