Chelsea starlet Levi Colwill could be deemed surplus to requirements this summer amid interest in the defender shown by a host of top flight clubs across England.
The youngster is wanted by the likes of Arsenal, Everton, Brighton, and Crystal Palace in the ongoing transfer window following his superb loan spell at Huddersfield last season, according to a report from The Daily Mail.
Colwill has returned to the Stamford Bridge fold ahead of the start of the new season but the 19-year-old defensive talent is unlikely to find a place in Thomas Tuchel’s plans for now considering the Chelsea manager’s recruitment spree in the market.
The Blues are said to be open to parting ways with the teenager on a permanent transfer with the imminent arrivals of Kalidou Koulibaly and Nathan Ake set to give Tuchel much-needed fresh faces to bolster his backline.
Koulibaly arrived in London on Thursday to complete his medical and Chelsea have struck an agreement with Manchester City for signing a former Blues player in Ake with the double deal’s confirmation awaited sooner rather than later.
