Chelsea star Mason Mount is interested in reuniting with Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich with the player’s future at Stamford Bridge hanging in the balance.
The England international is out of contract with Chelsea in 2024 and talks over a new deal have hit a roadblock with Chelsea said to be unwilling to concede to the player’s demands of a major hike in wages.
It is reported that the Blues do not want to find themselves at risk of losing their first-team regular on a free transfer and could be forced to cash in this coming summer with some of the biggest clubs waiting eagerly in the wings.
According to The Guardian, it is claimed that since the former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was appointed to the Bayern Munich top job, the Bavarian giants have emerged as serious contenders to sign Mount who is open to making that switch.
Tuchel could be keen to get his old Chelsea player back under his charge but the report mentions that the Bundesliga holders are yet to finalise transfer plans for the summer window.
