Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic has Chelsea interested in his services with the Serbian international striker not believed to have a future in the Spanish capital city beyond this summer’s transfer window.
Reports from AS claim that the Blues, who are on the hunt for a new striking force this summer, have registered interest in Jovic who spent the 2020-21 season on loan at German club Frankfurt.
The 23-year-old has also been linked with a permanent stay at the Bundesliga side where had been a star turn before sealing a big-money move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019.
With Chelsea’s resolve to sign priority target Erling Haaland not bearing any fruits as Borussia Dortmund remain firm on their astronomical price-tag on the in-demand Norway forward, Thomas Tuchel will be forced to look elsewhere in order to bolster his attacking line in time for the new season.
