Chelsea have reportedly set a knockdown £31 million price-tag for Christian Pulisic with Juventus stepping up their approach to sign the out of favour Stamford Bridge forward.
Pulisic had fallen down the pecking order in the Chelsea camp under then-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and despite Graham Potter being brought in to steer the ship, the player is unlikely to earn regular first-team action in west London.
According to a report from the Italian news publication Calciomercato, Juventus have initiated contact with Pulisic’s agent to determine the American winger’s interest in a move away from the Bridge to the Old Lady.
The likes of Liverpool and Manchester United had been surprisingly linked with the Chelsea man Pulisic in this summer’s window only for the ex-Dortmund winger to stay put with the Blues for the new season.
It remains to be seen whether Potter, newly appointed to the top job at Chelsea and gearing up for his debut Premier League game in the managerial dugout, would be willing to give his nod to parting way with Pulisic in the forthcoming transfer windows.
