Tammy Abraham has found a new suitor in Arsenal and it is speculated that the Chelsea forward is open to signing for the North Londoners in this summer’s transfer window.
Reports from The Athletic claim that the 23-year-old striker who finds himself on the fringes of the Chelsea first-team squad ahead of the next season is keen on calling it quits at Stamford Bridge amid interest shown in his services from fellow London-based outfit Arsenal.
The England international was a key target for both West Ham United and Aston Villa earlier in the summer window but Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have joined in on the race to sign the forward in a big-money deal.
It is claimed that The Gunners will, however, have to ship out a few players before deciding to table a concrete offer for the Chelsea man who is heavily linked with an exit from the Bridge with Thomas Tuchel eager to bring in a proven goal-getter to solve his side’s attacking misfortunes which were on display last season.
Borussia Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland, Tuchel’s priority target for the summer, is unlikely to arrive at Chelsea this time around meaning Tuchel will shift his focus towards alternative names in the transfer market, one of which is Bundesliga star striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
