Chelsea open to terminating Denis Zakaria’s loan move in January

Chelsea are said to be open to terminating Denis Zakaria’s loan move in January following his difficult start to life at Stamford Bridge after making the move on the summer’s deadline day.

Zakaria has not featured in a single Premier League matchday squad so far this season and his future now hangs in the balance especially after the change in management at Stamford Bridge last month.

Thomas Tuchel, who was in charge when Zakaria was brought in, got the axe after Chelsea’s disappointing run of form and in came Graham Potter with the latter not expected to have Zakaria in his first-team plans.

According to a report from 90min, Zakaria could be on his way back to Turin as early as January when the transfer window reopens for business with the midfielder unlikely to earn regular game time in the Chelsea shirt.

Potter has his eye out for midfield reinforcements to freshen is engine room which could lose out stalwarts Jorginho and N’Golo Kante in the near future with their current deals due to expire soon.
