Chelsea have reportedly initiated contact with Monaco defensive midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni who is a top target for Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman has been eyed up by a host of big clubs across Europe which include the likes of Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester United besides Chelsea who have been long linked with a move for the 21-year-old.
Tchouameni’s exploits in the Ligue 1 for Monaco have not gone unnoticed and the player is tipped for a bright future for both club and country amid the talk of him wanting a move to the Premier League.
According to reports from Spanish news outlet MARCA (via Sport Witness), it is indicated that the Blues camp have reached out to Monaco over the possibility of signing Aurelien Tchouameni in the next summer transfer window.
Chelsea will be hoping to wrap up the talks soon in order to fend off the increasing competition on the table from other suitors in the race to land Tchouameni’s signature from Monaco who will be seeking a sizable fee for sanctioning the sale.
