Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Atletico Madrid duo Matheus Cunha and Joao Felix in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to a report from The Evening Standard, it is claimed that Chelsea will be in the market for both short and long-term options come January 1 when the transfer window reopens for business and provides Graham Potter the opportunity to bring in fresh faces.
The Blues, who need new signings to bolster a misfiring front line, have lost their young striker Armando Broja to a severe knee injury that could sideline him for the rest of the campaign.
With an agreement to sign RB Leipzig talisman Christopher Nkunku next summer already in place for the Stamford Bridge camp, it would be interesting to see what Potter comes up with to bolster his attacking ranks midway through the season.
Atletico offered Chelsea the chance to sign Felix for £86 million before Broja’s long-term injury while Cunha is said to be stalling on interest from Wolves and Leeds United in the hopes of making the move to west London.
