Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is expected to leave in the summer but AC Milan are yet to make an approach for his services, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer guru, in his column for CaughtOffside, has claimed that the Italian giants Milan are keen on the one-time England international who is likely to head out the exit door at Stamford Bridge over the summer.
“Ruben Loftus-Cheek has chances to leave Chelsea in the summer, depending on the proposals of course.
“AC Milan have not approached his agents or Chelsea at this stage; many clubs follow and appreciate the player but it’s not something concrete now.”
Loftus-Cheek, despite his immense potential to cement a regular berth on the Chelsea team sheet, has failed to secure game time in recent times for the Blues due to recurring injury troubles.
He has less than 18 months left on his current terms at the Bridge and the Blues board could be looking to cash in on the midfielder and pocket a sizable fee for some new faces to come through ahead of the start of the next season.
The likes of Crystal Palace and Lazio have shown an interest in moving in for Loftus-Cheek previously and they could be keeping close tabs on the 27-year-old as his future with Chelsea remains up in the air.
