Chelsea midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayoko has asked for an exit to join the Italian club, AC Milan. He has recently talked about his possible return to Milan where he enjoyed a sparkling loan season.
“Everyone knows that Milan is in my heart”- said Tiemoue.
The talented midfielder was brought to Chelsea in a transfer fee of £40 million. His crucial role in Monaco’s impressive run in Ligue 1 made Chelsea aware of his talents.
Since his move in summer 2017, the defensive midfielder hasn’t been impressive for Chelsea with small glimpses of his Monaco form.
The 2018-19 season saw Bakayoko moving to AC Milan on loan where he flourished.
Unfortunately, the French midfielder failed to reach the same heights during his debut season in the Premier League and quickly fell down the squad pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

According to the reports, Milan has opened talks with Chelsea and wants to take the player on loan with an option to buy-back for €35m.
Di Marzio: Chelsea are now open to an expensive loan with option to buy for Bakayoko for around €30-32M in total.

Bakayoko has consequently fallen down the pecking order and the season ahead with Chelsea will bear no fruit for him.
On asking about the transfer, Bakayoko said, “At the moment I’m a Chelsea player, then we’ll see in football.”
Time will say whether he stays with the Blues and fight for his place or returns to San Siro.
