Chelsea have reportedly been made aware that Napoli will demand €150 million to part ways with dangerman Victor Osimhen in this summer’s transfer window.
Osimhen has been lethal in his showings in front of the goal with his exploits helping Napoli pull 18 points clear at the top of Serie A while also booking a quarter-final berth in the Champions League.
The former Lille forward has courted interest from the Premier League big boys Chelsea and Manchester United but both clubs have been alerted that Napoli are looking to pocket a big fee to sanction Osimhen’s exit over the summer.
According to a report from the Italian publication Il Mattino, it is claimed that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will not be convinced to enter into talks with other sides over Osimhen’s transfer unless a €150m offer is tabled for the in-demand striker.
Napoli are under no pressure to allow their star frontman to leave this summer with Osimhen’s current terms in Naples not due to expire until 2025 amid his growing status as one of the most prolific forwards in European club football.
