Chelsea looking certain to turn down loan move for Hakim Ziyech

Chelsea are reportedly inclined towards turning down a loan move for Hakim Ziyech who is linked with an exit from the Bridge come January.

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are credited with a strong interest in signing the former Ajax playmaker when the transfer window reopens following Ziyech’s fall down the pecking order in the Chelsea camp.

He has clocked less than 200 minutes of Premier League football this season and speculation is rife that the Moroccon may demand a move elsewhere to ensure regular first-team action out there on the pitch.

Reports from Telegraph Sport, however, suggest that Thomas Tuchel will not be keen on parting ways with Ziyech’s services in the forthcoming January window with Tuchel’s men set to take part in as many as five competitions and squad depth being of much importance to the Chelsea manager.

The Blues could be willing to entertain permanent offers coming their way for Ziyech’s signature, according to the rumour mill, with Tuchel understood to be looking at alternate options in the transfer market.
