Chelsea are linked with a surprise move for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha who enters the final 12 months of his current terms at Selhurst Park.
Zaha has been one of the most influential names for the Eagles since he made the move to the English capital from Manchester United but the Ivorian winger will be out of contract at Palace come next summer.
According to a report from Media Foot, Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel, who is on the hunt for reinforcement to overhaul his attacking lineup in the summer window, has set his sights on moving in for Zaha’s services.
Tuchel has brought in Raheem Sterling from Manchester City in a big-money deal, lining up a replacement for his outgoing No.9 Romelu Lukaku in the process, but question marks still remain over the futures of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
Both attackers have struggled to make a lasting impact on Tuchel and cement their berths on the team sheet which could make Tuchel’s decision to cash in on the duo much easier should he land another quality forward in Zaha.
