VfB Stuttgart star striker Sasa Kalajdzic who netted 16 goals last season in the Bundesliga is a new target for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea with their priority target Erling Haaland expected to be retained by Dortmund beyond this summer.
Reports from The Athletic claim that Tuchel is keen on the 6ft 7in Kalajdzic on the back of his impressive run of showings at the recently concluded UEFA European Championships with the Austrian national team.
Tuchel’s long-term target Erling Haaland appears to be key to Dortmund’s plans for the forthcoming campaign and the Germans have ruled out the Norweigian’s sale in this summer’s transfer window.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have completed the sale of the veteran figure in Olivier Giroud to Serie A giants AC Milan and with speculation rife over Tammy Abraham’s future at the Bridge, the west Londoners will be urged to induct fresh blood into their attacking ranks ahead of the next season.
Kalajdzic is sure to come as a much cheaper transfer option for the Blues who were demanded of Dortmund to pay north of €120 million to sign the 20-year-old Haaland this time around.
