Chelsea are said to be keeping tabs on RB Leipzig winger Dani Olmo as an alternative to Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Ukrainian forward Mudryk has emerged as a viable target this January window for Chelsea who find themselves in dire need of reinforcements to freshen things up in the attacking third of the pitch.
With the Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly on the search for attacking talents in the market before the deadline later this month, the American businessman could be convinced to look elsewhere for alternatives should his pursuit for Mudryk fail to materialise.
According to a report from the Spanish news outlet Fichajes, it is claimed that the Stamford Bridge camp are considering a swoop for the Bundesliga talent Dani Olmo who is under contract to RB Leipzig until the summer of 2024.
Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the Spanish winger previously but the Catalan outfit are not expected to spend heavily in the winter transfer window on bolster their front line.
