Chelsea keeping tabs on former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique

Chelsea are said to be keeping tabs on former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique with the current head coach Graham Potter under pressure to steer his side to winning ways.

The Blues have been far from their best out there on the pitch despite the club’s hefty spending over the last two transfer windows to provide Potter with as many as 16 new signings to bolster his squad.

Since the lavish January window, Chelsea have been held to goalless draws against Liverpool and Fulham and Potter, who took over from Thomas Tuchel last year, has his future at Stamford Bridge subject to much talk of late.

According to a report from the Spanish outlet Fichajes, it is claimed that the Blues are keen to bring in the former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique despite indications that Potter’s job is not under immediate threat.

Enrique has been out of a job since his departure from the Spanish national team following the country’s underwhelming showing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
